Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh starrer horror movie “Darna Zaroori Hai” was released under the banners of Factory, Sahara One and K Sera Sera. The movie is directed by a group of directors which includes Jijy Philip, Prawaal Raman, Ram Gopal Varma, Chakravarthy, Sajid Khan, Manish Gupta and Vivek Shah. Other star cast of the movie includes Mallika Sherawat, Randeep Hooda, Zakir Hussain, Manoj Pahwa, Sunil Shetty, Sonali Kulkarni, Rajpal Yadav, Arjun Rampal, Bipasha Basu and Makrand Deshpande. The music of the movie is directed and composed by Taabhish Romani, Nitin Raikwar, Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant. Darna Zaroori Hai is another horror movie from RGV, after Darna Mana Hai it is another one in continuation of the series. The movie is a combination of six small stories just like its predecessor, the only difference is that all the stories in this movie are directed by different directors. The movie has a story that binds all these small stories together. Only three out of the six stories seems to be having a thrilling effect on the viewers. The movie starts with the first story in which a movie buff (Manoj Pahwa ) despite being warned by his mother, walks through the graveyard to reach the theater in a hurry and lost his life due to a heart attack watching the poster of the movie. Second story stars Amitabh Bachchan as a university professor who believes that there’s someone in his house and is constantly watching him.

There is another story involving Randeep Huda, one night he met a beautiful women and he was completely shocked when he wake up the very next morning. He found himself in a jail. He was convicted for murdering a man. The story takes a horror turn when his mother came on to the scene. This story is surely the best of all, it brings down the shivers through the spines of the viewers. The rest of the stories of the movie are also very involving barring the one involving Sunil Shetty and Rajpal Yadav. The final and the binding story, is about a old lady and five young kids. After hearing the horror stories one of them died after every story. overall the movie is nat able to create that horror effect on the screen barring a few incidents there is nothing that makes you feel Darna Zaroori Hai.
