Chandni Chowk To China is another Akshay movie that is tauted to a be a big hit of the year, after a series of hit after hit by Akshay the movie disappointed one and all. The story of the movie revolves around a common man Sidhu ( Akshay Kumar ), who lives in the crowded place of Chandni Chowk in Delhi. He runs a small fast food stall in the busy bazaar of Chandni Chowk. Sidu is very ambitious man and wants to become a big chef one day.

He is very superstitious kind of a person and believes in every person who predicts his future. His life took a dramatic turn when he was transported to China by two Chinese men, who believed that Sidhu is their war hero, who has taken a rebirth in his body. As he reaches China, a series of comic and action sequences splurges the screen. When the innocent Sidhu came to know that he is being trapped, it was too late for him to come out easily, it is now when he met a beautiful girl Sakhi ( Deepika Padukone ), and fell in love with her. He also met a tug Chopstick ( Ranvir Shorey ), who agreed to help him.
