Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda starrer action comedy “Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan” was released under the banner of Apic Enterprises on October 16, 1998 while the movie is directed by David Dhwan. Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan came under the direction of showman David Dhwan, is a typical Dhawan movie, it has got all the flavors of comedy to action to drama and also the double trouble. The story of the movie revolves around two police cops Arjun Singh ( Amitabh Bachchan ) and Pyare Mohan ( Govinda ). Both are very good friends of each other and are always together to solve every case. But Arjun is sometimes apprehend of Pyare as he is a flirtatious character and Arjun has a younger sister Seema ( Raveena Tandon ).

Pyare and Seema loved each other but Arjun never liked his friend becoming his brother in law. One day they were suspended from the police after being caught stealing precious diamonds on video which they were supposed to guard. Later they came to know that there are two conmen who completely look like Arjun and Pyare. One day a young girl Neha ( Ramaya ) came to the police station after witnessing the murder of her friend by Jorawar ( Paresh Rawal ). She will only talk to Pyare as told by her friend but Arjun pretended being Pyare to come close to her. Soon both were in love with each other. As the movie progresses Arjun-Pyare teamed up with their duplicates to fight against Jorawar.
