Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol starrer patriotic movie “Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo” was released on December 24, 2004. After super hit movie Gadar, director Anil Sharma teams up once again with the same writers to bring up an extravaganza like Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo. The movie is released at the time when India Pakistan are heading towards having good relations, the movie talks about the war situations with Pakistan, the insurgency and terrorism sponsored by Pakistani forces. The movie revolves around the family of Amarjeet Singh ( Amitabh Bachchan ) who is an army officer. His son Vikramjeet ( Bobby Deol ) also an army officer gave his life for the country during Kargil war. Vikramjeet’s son Kunal (Bobby Deol in double role ) is also in Army.

Although being from a family that has a great history with the defense forces, Kunal dreams to leave army one day and settle outside India and earn big money. One fine day he came across Shweta ( Divya Khosla ) and fell in love with her instantly, she was the wife of Rajiv ( Akshay Kumar ) a war captive in Pakistan. Rajiv along with other prisoners managed to escape from the Pakistan. Shweta already fallen for Kunal now finds her in a fix. Towards the end movie takes another turn when Pakistani forces along with the militants planned to spread terrorism during the Amarnath Pilgrimage. Overall the movie seems too chaotic, continuously changing plots. On the box office it will do good business in the interiors of India.
