Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takia starrer romantic movie “Dil Maange More” was released on December 31, 2004. The movie is directed by Anant Mahadevan under the banner of Fourth Wall Productions. Other cast of the movie includes Soha Ali Khan, Tulip Joshi, Kanwaljeet Singh, Zarina Wahab, Smita Jaykar, Gulshan Grover, A K Hangal, Hiten Paintal, Suhas Khandke, Firdaus Mewawala, Sanjana and Homi Wadia. Dil Maange More is a love quadrangle that talks about the teenage love and its consequences. The movie had a great plot but the screenplay of the movie isn’t consistent, after a good initial half the story becomes too confusing during the culminating period. The story of the movie revolves around the live of Nikhil ( Shahid Kapoor ), based in Samarpur. He is in love with his childhood friend Neha ( Soha Ali Khan ). But on the contrary she had a dream of becoming an airhostess, so she left for Mumbai to pursue her dream. Determined to bring her back and marry her, Nikhil left for Mumbai. But she refused to get back without becoming an air hostess.

Nikhil wants to convince her, so he stays in Mumbai and started working in a music store under A.R. Rehman ( Gulshan Grover ). While working he met Sara ( Tulip Joshi ), one of his colleague. They became friends and soon Nikhil fell in love with her. But Sara had a past and she preferred having relations with her boyfriend. Nikhil met another girl Shagun ( Ayesha Takia ), his neighbor in Mumbai and both fell in love with each other after initial hiccups. With a turnaround in the story both the two girls Sara and Neha realize their mistake and now want Nikkhil back. He is in a complete mess now, who to choose? The movie had a good plot to woo the young crowd but the messy screenplay let the movie down.
