Romantic thriller “Aksar” was released under the banner of Siddhi Vinayak Creations on February 3, 2006. The movie starred Emraan Hashmi, Dino Morea and Udita Goswami in the lead roles. The movie is directed by Anant Mahadevan. Other cast of the movie includes Tara Sharma, Suresh Menon, Rajat Bedi, Firdaus Mewawala, Ameya Wagh and Vivek Vaswani in important roles. The wonderful music of the movie is composed and directed by Himesh Reshammiya. The melodious songs of the movie are sung by Himesh Reshammiya, Sunidhi Chauhan, K K, Tulsi Kumar, Kunal Ganjawala and Jayesh Gandhi.

The movie Aksar is directed by Anant Mahadevan who brings a relatively old concept in a complete strange format. The story of the movie is about a wife cheating her husband and that too in front of his eyes. The story is all about the tussle between two men far a single lady but with a slightly different flavor. The story of the movie starts with a famous fashion photographer Ricky ( Emraan Hashmi ), a complete Casanova who invariably attracts beautiful women. A rich businessman Rajeev ( Dino Morea ) is married to Sheena ( Udita Goswami ). Rajeev bought the whole collection of Ricky’s beautiful pictures before he was slated to hold an exhibition of them.

But this interest in his creations was motivated by a personal interest. He convinced Ricky to flirt with his wife Sheena, so that he can easily divorce her on the charges of unfaithfulness towards the relation ship. Ricky was immediately on the job and after few hiccups was able to win Sheena’s love. Sheena was caught in an uncompromising position with Ricky in her bedroom by Raj. In spite of being ashamed of her act she boldly challenges Raj that if he can have relations outside marriage why can’t she. Realizing the failure of his plan Raj immediately tells Ricky to get out of her life. But now Ricky was also enjoying the pleasure of being in the company of beautiful and rich lady, he started double crossing Raj. The actors Emraan and Udita have performed wonderfully. Overall the movie had a great music album but some how it disappoints at the box office due to the lack of a great screenplay.
